NEED HELP please!

I bought the MSI h81m-p33, as well as the Pentium g3258. But I recently discovered that if the bios on the motherboard is not factory updated, I won't be able to use the CPU, as some h81 motherboards may need a bios update prior to using haswell-refresh CPUs. So I will be returning that motherboard, and I want to get the MSI Z97 PC MATE. Can you please look over my build and tell me if there are any compatibility issues and if the mobo will work with CPU without needing to be updated, and if windows 7 works with all the parts. Thank you !

H97 or Z97 will be fine.

97 series work out of the box with G3258 and all Haswell Refresh chips.

before you return the board, have you tried asking the shop to update your h81 bios?

I have not, but I will be returning it.

What is your budget build your pc?

Everything looks ok, just be wary of the wireless card. That could be something that fails in the future.

I have not opened anything, will get a network card that goes into mobo later on
