OC doesnt apply on startup

Go to solution Solved by xnoobftw,

Oops! I didn't see the post you just made. Like zappian said, check temps and make sure you're not hitting a temperature boundary

Make sure the temps are low and the card inst throttling .

That oc seems too high for a 290x at decent temps.

NVM! I solved it! Thank you 2 for your guidance so far  :D

Its because the card is on idle and it clocks down automatically.

Im stressing it with heaven and it only clocks up to factory settings (1040/1300)

It runs at around 85C (which isnt too bad....)

It'll ramp up when necessary. Try running a game/ benchmark once you're in windows with Afterburner's OSD turned on and you should see the frequency fluctuate.

Im running unigine valley / heaven and both gives me 1040/1300 instead of 1155/1580
