Hello everyone! I was wondering how good the GTX 960 is and whether its worth buying. I know GTX 970 and 80 is better but at www.pccasegear.com (my preffered website) it costs $499 and I want a cheap graphics card. If you have any cheaper than $499 radeon cards that have similar performance to the 970 to reccomend that would be appreciated too.

You can easily get 290 for less than 400 with similar performance to the 970. An R9 280 costs about the same as 960 with similar performance and more VRAM, 280X is a bit more expensive but much better.

Can it do shadow of mordor?

My 280 runs Shadow of Mordor at 40+ FPS at 1080P with Ultra settings and a 4690K at 4.5GHz, so yep.

Can it do shadow of mordor?

Currently most Graphics cards cant run Shadows of Mordor With ultra textures, however the r9 280, 280x and 960 should

be able to run the game at max (minus ultra textures).I bought a GTX 970 and If i could I would probably replace it with a 280x or 290

because IMO there the best bang for the buck cards right now.
