I've been coming back to this and the 24pin will not go in!! all the pins look fine! do you think it's okay for it to be like this?

Same for me, I left it just plugged in as far as I could get it and have had 0 problems with it.

No. Take it out and make sure nothing is in it. It sometimes takes some pressure to push it in.

No. Take it out and make sure nothing is in it. It sometimes takes some pressure to push it in.

my fingers hurt from pushing on it...

Heh, my first ever build failed to start up initially because the 24-pin connector didn't go all the way into the motherboard. I've found it always takes a surprising amount of force to get that thing in there. You might be facing a similar issue.

I took a toothpick and started pushing pins that were not completely center and it went in a little farther
