I game on a lenovo y510p

Every time that I play DayZ, I get a crash followed by a BSOD and DPC Watchdog Violation.

I have not been able to find a fix for this anywhere else, so I thought I would ask the people here.

I only need to keep playing on this until I save up enough for my desktop i'm building, but that will still be many months.

i would suggest installing and updating all your drivers since if i remember correctly it is caused by a driver.

I have found a few things on the web that might help the issue you are having.

Do you have the latest driver for your GPU? If not, I recommend installing the latest driver, and see if the problem continues.

It is definitely a driver issue, and may be due to the GPU driver.

Reinstall windows. I had this issue and reinstalled and I've never had it since then.

It can be, but he may not have all the drivers backed up, and can be a pain in the arse to get reinstalled. It is most likely the GPU driver issue, and updating it should fix the problem.
