$1000 PC Build

this is my very first PC Build so im not too knowledgeable on PCs and the details of each part but with some reasearch and youtubing this is the $1000 gaming PC build that i threw together 

 

 

CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz LGA 1150 Boxed Processor

 

MotherBoard --ASRock Z97Extreme3 LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard

 

GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 Video Card

 

RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800) C

 

SSD - PNY XLR8 240GB SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid

 

Hard Drive - WD Blue 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA III 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal hard drive

 

Power Supply - Corsair CX Series CX750M 750 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply - replacing this power supply with the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 Watt 80+ Gold Modular ATX 12V Power supply

 

Case - Thermaltake V9 BlacX Edition Mid Tower ATX Gaming

 

DVD Driver - LG GH24NSC0B 24x Internal DVD Rewritable SATA Driver

 

TOTAL: $1083

 

Tell me what you think and tell me any recommendations or suggestions on how i could change and improve this build

also do i need a sound card or CPU cooler?

It's fine, although I'd get a 650w PSU instead. No need to spend on 750w.
