Since I've gotten my 6750, I have overclocked it and tweaked it quite a bit. It's a great card and with my ghetto fan mod, it stays below 54 degrees celsius. However, afterburner is being a chode and won't allow me to change the voltage. The GPU overclocks like a champ and I know the only reason it has issues is the lack of voltage. I could probably pump another 5 fps out of it and other than the voltage, there isn't really a limiting factor here.

Here is whats going on:

I'm not sure why it's grayed out. I have done all the stuff the interwebs has to offer, and I can't change the .CFG file because "access is denied."

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

Its grayed out mainly to stop being from bricking cards if they arn't careful. Afterburner tends to only allow you to modify voltage if you have a card with built in support for over volting.

You might try another program, or might look at the built in CCC overclocking utility (although its total shit and no one should ever use it unless they've expended every other possible option. Literaly just turning it on and running a game causes my 270X to bsod, all 3 that i've had xD)

I'm going to go ahead and rule that one out, as that pitch you threw was the way to turn away anyone.

Kinda confused on what ye mean there, but there are some other decent overclocking software and utilities out there, I just mentioned CCC 'turbo what ever' because a lot of people are against just downloading random programs they hear about online. Do you know as reference of anyone with the same card / manufacturer as you who was able to get an overvolt through msi, meaning it's not just a problem with msi built in safeguards?

There should be a checkbox under the settings at the bottom of msi afterburner which says "unlock voltage control"

That was the first thing I did, nothing in the built in settings menu helps whatsoever.
