CPU/Motherboard help?

Hi.

I'm in a dilemma. I'm low on money and in order to upgrade from my potato, I need to spend wisely. I was thinking of the Intel Pentium G3258, alongside with the MSI H81-P33 mobo.

Will this run well, especially with games like Arma 3 and DayZ? I've heard it has just as much quality as a i5/i3.

Even overclocked would it be as well?

The g3258 is a budget cpu in game that need a strong cpu like the 2 u mention above it will have alot of trouble keeping up. Something like this is better PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Arma and DayZ are from what I know, very CPU dependent. Despite the pentiumk's OCability, I would go with an i3 such as keemoscrub suggested.
