Unicomp Keyboard

So about a year ago I bought a new keyboard. Being the retro guy I am I purchased a board from Unicomp in the good old beige color scheme. (If you do not know who Unicomp is they are the ones who acquired the right/patent to make the Model M keyboards.) These keyboards feature the buckling spring switches that have been around forever and are built to last, not to forget they are nice and loud and in some cases louder than cherry MX blue switches. I absolutely love this keyboard and know that a lot of people don't even know this company exist! It is the keyboard built for they working man and if you don't like membrane and cherry MX switches I would highly recommend you give this keyboard a try. (Don't forget they are made in America to! F*** Ya!)

 

I am not a sponsor of Unicomp in any way just a huge ass fanboy of there keyboards, because who does not love the 80s?

Been watching one of these for a while now too see what the hype is all about, great review on this Unicomp keyboard.

I think you just need to type:

"Big f**king steel plate makes for good blunt instrument for killing."

The tactile feels is something Cherry MX can't do; except maybe Green...which I heard comes close.

Only downside is that it's not as great for gaming if you want to hold down a certain button combination(for example, w+shift+2 for switching to sidearm while sprinting in fps won't register the 2).
