10 degrees discrepancy in CPU temp.

Go to solution Solved by Guest Haduvokone,

Hey guys I've got a quick question,

is this kind of difference in CPU temperature normal?

Ai Suite shows roughly 10° less under load.

that's because ai suite shows the socket temps but the intel monitor shows the real core temps

Try using HWiNFO64, throttlestop 6, HWMonitor, Realtemp and Core Temp and see if the differences persist between programs. Whatever the majority of the programs seem to think is the correct temp is the one you should follow.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

THE INFORMATION GUIDES: SLI INFORMATION || vRAM INFORMATION || MOBILE i7 CPU INFORMATION || Maybe more someday

Yeah that makes sense.

Thank you to you both!
