MPC video freezing issue

Media Player Classic on my PC freezes (video freezing) while am watching a video..

 

the thing is, it doesnt happen straight away.. sometimes after 20 mins or 30 mins..

 

it stops when i close and reopen MPC.. i tried VLC and no issues but dont like any other players.

 

had it with K-Lite codec and reinstalled again as solo app but still same issue.

 

One of the RAM on my pc is faulty and sent for replacement.

 

am running PC with 8GB single stick at the mooment (not sure this could be the issue)
