Hi all,

I was thinking about getting this kit from iFixit but I found some mixed reviews on amazon: https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/54-Bit-Driver-Kit/IF145-022-1

Is it actually good or does it have soft bits?

Does anyone have ifixit stuff here?

Thank you in advance

I'll shed some light.

They're not great, but they get the job done. They're definitely just cheapy parts, but it comes in a full set so...

The point is if you use them daily get something nicer, but if you only need what it has occasionally, you'll be fine.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

I have one, its older though. Their older kits were more expensive, I think mine was $80.

I use it fairly often, its ok. I have owned better tools, but it certainly works good enough.

That's what I was afraid of.

I hate bits that get useless after few uses...

Linus said it on the wan show a month or seven ago "The build qualities not great, but it gets the job done"

I just get crappy bits from harbor freight for five bucks whenever i have a need. I'm gradually building up a collection of little bits, that's honestly what i'd recommend. Don't buy a full set if you don't need all of it

Build your own kit.

Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...
