PC Makes Connected Devices Slow

Hello there so recently I have been downloading games and by doing so, everyone in my house gets slow wifi connection. I am plugged in with ethernet and I have a gaming PC. When my dad's non gaming pc, is in use, the wifi is not slow. Anyone know why my PC affects everyone else? If done downloading, will it make the wifi faster?

i think you answered your question 

 

if your using all the available bandwidth then thier will be none left for everyone else

 

example in steam limit the download speed too 75% of your total speed, so you can leave room for other people.

Alright thank you. So while playing it wasn't as slow as downloading
