My good friend gave me his XFX hd 6750 because the fan broke. With my poor person ingenuity I put an old cpu fan on the heatsink with some zip ties (Linus, you've taught me well.) The temps at stock were 10 degrees below other's with the stock little fan on there. Supposedly it's roughly as good as my old gtx 260, so I put them to the test. I used furmark, and used the built in 720p benchmark. The results of the 6750 at stock clocks vs my 260 (with it's overclocks still on), were unimpressive. The 6750 was worse by a whole 4 fps. So I decided to overclock the 6750. I did just a small jump of 50 mhz across the board. Gained an fps and temps were same. Threw it up some more, another 2 fps. So then I tossed it wayyy up to 850 core/845 mem (opposed to the 700/667 stock speeds) and it just seems to not give a s***. No artifacts, and only a few degrees celsius higher. It's cooler by about 30 degrees than my 260, and gets 3 more fps in furmark. I'm impressed. I will see what I can get this thing to do. Will update soon.

- - - - UPDATE - - - -

I maxed it out completely on afterburner. No artifacts at all.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

Uhhh... you do know that Furmark can kill GPU's, even ones that are high quality?

It turned my 780 up to like 1400 MHz. So yeah...

It most certainly can.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
