If you can select 77Hz in the Hz menu, and it works. Well than it just works. If you can't use it, it will go black when you want to try it or it just won't appear.

in battlefield 4 there is no option for 1920x1080 77Hz there is only 1920x1080 60Hz, well there is 77Hz option but not for 1080p :(

my monitor is a 75hz monitor, but only for 1024x768, so ive you dont see the option on 1080p it might just not support it at that high of a resolution

Try to get 77Hz working first in windows itself. When you go to screen resolution > advanced settings > monitor  you should be able to select 77Hz, or whatever you have tweaked in. You might unselect the hide unsupported modes thingy underneath it.

It's possible BF4 doesn't support 77Hz... Maybe try other games and see if you can select it there.
