So I'm getting a basic pc for around 500 bucks usd

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gKKHK8

This is my build I tried to get the best bang for the buck I know I could have got better parts but I  cut corners on somethings

I'm not so sure about the thermal paste I want to do some decent overclocking on the fx6300

liquid cooling is out for now

I got the case so I would be able to room for upgrades in the future

Ram don't really care about

The cpu I needed to be better than my i5 2450m in my laptop

The reason I don't have a gpu a psu and DVD drive is because I have them already

I have a Radeon 6570 but a friend is giving me a 560ti when he gets his new gpu I'm not trying to play with best graphics as long as I get 60 fps with decent settings in the games I play I'm happy

I have a 750 watt psu I got last as a gift

And I'm borrowing a bluray drive to install windows yes I could use usb but I'm a bit lazy and I use steam for ally games I hate discs now they get lost and then u can't reinstall if the game doesn't use steam

I have 3 other hdd I'm using with the 1tb I getting for different types of apps on them ssd  will come with a more powerful gpu

desktop amd fx 8320 10gb ram ocd to 1866, 1tb segate hdd 500gb  toshiba 250 gb segate 60gb ?? 240gb trion sdd xfx amd radeon 6570 750 wat dual 12v rail ultra psu asus M5A97 R2.0

Looks like a nice build!

But I think a i3 based build would be better for the price (Or perhaps a G3258)

Something like this perhaps? (Rate this build pls...)

It depends what games you play

Which games do you plan on playing?

Some games are more CPU intensive than others such as Minecraft/Skyrim/Hitman

I recommend the CM 212 Evo it is one of the best heatsinks you can get and it comes with thermal compound.

Im so patriotic, I piss red white and blue. My doctor told me it was pancreatic cancer, I told him to SHUT HIS COMMIE MOUTH.

just wold of tanks some day war thunder minecraft men of war starbound spintires my current laptop can handle all these games with decent graphics at 30 to 60 fps I have a i5 2450m 8gb ram and a Nvidia 525m so this computer isn't much of any upgrade but at least it won't crash after 10 minutes in a game

You arent playing many gpu intensive games so it shouldnt be hard to find a ddecent pc for that price. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get AMD for this build. World of tanks is shit in terms of optimization and can not even use two cores. Since AMD has shitty per core performance you are pretty much going to feel like you are playing on a potato no matter how good your gpu is. Make sure to leave room for an i3 in your build and almost any GPU should be fine

You can get Windows 8.1 for $20 from here. The seller has excellent ratings and has been registered for over 2 years. The keys are legitimate, in the sense that they are official MS keys and can be used to download the ISO file directly from the Microsoft website.

I bought a copy there recently so I (and many others on here) can confirm that this isn't a scam. If there is any doubts over the legitimacy of these keys (and I had doubts too), I expect them to work for at least 3 years and then maybe MS might disable if they did happen to be acquired illegitimately.

Rig: i7 2600K @ 4.2GHz, Larkooler Watercooling System, MSI Z68a-gd80-G3, 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHz CL9, Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3x 2GB OC, Samsung 840 250GB, 1TB WD Caviar Blue, Auzentech X-FI Forte 7.1, XFX PRO650W, Silverstone RV02 Monitors: Asus PB278Q, LG W2243S-PF (Gaming / overclocked to 74Hz) Peripherals: Logitech G9x Laser, QPad MK-50, AudioTechnica ATH AD700

Alright cool my dad said he could get me a cheaper version like on my laptop I only spent 30 bucks on a windows 7 ultimate upgrade key from home premium

Any version of windows under 25 dollars is acquired by pirating and will probably be disabled by microsoft soon.
