When I play games, even Team Fortress 2 my PC  radiator water cooler got really hot and so did my processor. My whole PC was very dusty which was ultimately the problem and was what I thought the problem was of my PC freezing. So today I completely air dusted my computer and well my PC no longer overheats. However, it still freezes. I think my PSU could be bottle necking which causes it to freeze

Does it freeze as in lock up with no restart? Or does it just randomly restart? What temps are you getting in HWMonitor? Check your +12V rail output in both the BIOS and HWMonitor, does it fluctuate more than 1-2V?

Check Windows Event Viewer, take a screenshot of it if there are any critical events and post it here.

Download and install this: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Run it and take a screenshot of the window showing everything on it and post it here.

Open Control Panel, select Administrative Tools. Open Event Viewer. In the main window under Overview and Summary, you'll see several columns. Under Event Type the first one is Critical, if there are any errors under that selection, take a screen shot of the window and post it here.

It seems like code 41 is most likely a faulty PSU. Check that all the cables are plugged in properly on both ends. Also try using a different socket in the wall as it could be something electrical. If you have a surge protector try not using it

What is a surge protector??

Nope never overclocked

How old is your CX600M? How long have you had this system running? The 600W CX series isn't the highest quality, and as it's only Bronze rated, it's not actually pumping out a full 600W, more like 560ish. Considering there is a Kernel Power event in there twice in the last 24 hours, I wonder if you're exceeding the PSU's abilities.

I ran your config through a PSU calculator and came up at 562W, give or take a fan or two, and that's not including capacitor aging.

Now this doesn't rule out things like bad RAM, but I'd say it's a high probability that your PSU can't handle your system. That's one power hungry CPU you have in there.

I think so? Is it basically just a the power cable adapter things so you can have more things plugged in at once? If so I am using that.

Yes and no. Some extension cords have surge protectors but I'm pretty sure you don't. A surge protector does what the name implies. If something goes wrong with your electricity it prevents your computer from getting fried due to high voltage spikes.

I don't think this is a bad power bar issue. That would be much more random than this.

Don't take that as you need to run out and buy a 1200W PSU. I would suggest a RM750 by Corsair to allow for a future card upgrade or something along those lines. However, if the RM is out of your price range for the moment you can upgrade to a CX750 as well.

Okay, any other PSU ideas? What should I get instead.

Willisaurus is dead on with the recommendations. A Seasonic G series like the G750 is also an excellent choice, or the EVGA G2 series. I have heard good things about XFX also. Lots of choices. Keep it at 750W-800W and you'll be set for a good long time.
