need some help

so I just build my computer and it won't post.I just changed the mobo and cpu and used my old stuff.This my 2 build .My frist build went perfect but now this. My first build had video port on mobo so it easy. But this mobo does not so what do I do?Do I have a bad mobo? I have read some were that this mobo only takes only some types of ram.so should I buy new ram?

Check if all the power cables are plugged in correctly and securely... usually the system will give you an error code when something is broken (beeping sequence) did you get that? or does nothing happen at all?

no beeping have the speaker hooked up it does nothing. already checked that all the plugs are tight. it shows nothing nothing screen. all the fans spin

Your monitor might not be set to use the correct port.

no I checked also used my tv and put to pc and that did not work

put only one stick of ram because a lot of people say to just try one stick of ram and that did not work

hmm if the cpu was dead it would def. give error code - so im pretty sure its not that. problem could be the graphics card - do you have an old one that you could replace to test?

no last time that I tested it was about 1 week ago and had it the bag that comes with when you buy it

just cleared the cmos and fixed my problem

i can't see how the problem was in the cmos xD :D but good for you bro :D i know how it feels to find out a part of you rig is down good it didn't happen =))
