PWM fan control help!

JJLabrier

So I just got some NF-A14 PWM's and as you probably know, these are some loud MFs at full speed. Naturally, I never intended to run them at full speed anyway and just wanted the option to be there if I ever needed it.

Now, the problem is controlling the speed. I tried the BIOS/UEFI and lowered the use to 30% but that didn't seem to do anything. Ever since then I've just been using speedfan but with it, I have to adjust the speed every time I turn on my PC. I want it to change the start up speed of the fans.

Any suggestions?

Don't they come with low noise adapters?

Have you tried those?

Nope, didn't come with them.

I just literally bought the same fans 2 weeks ago, and they come with a y-cable, and extention cable, and a low noise adapter cable...

There are different kinds of the NF-A14's. Mine were the NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM ones and they did not come with a y-cable or low noise adapter.
