I personally use a Dell Venue 8 Pro. Sure it's not the bees knees of tablets, but it's fairly fast, has great battery life, and performs pretty well. It can even play some games at a very playable framerate. Love this machine.

Don't buy off brand if you can help it.

It was all from a bunch of customer reviews that seemed to come from a batch of tablets that had bad flash in them ( failing in 1st week ) . You should be fine though .

Buy it used or refurbished. I bought mine refurbished and it was only $150 on Ebay.

And after a quick search, a refurb'd Venue 8 Pro runs around $100 now. It's well worth it.

It's the older Venue 8 Pro. Same one that I have.

Also keep in mind that Winbook isn't really a popular brand at all, and I'm sure they don't use the same quality of parts as Dell. If you want to get the Winbook, fine, go ahead, but if it breaks down on you, all I can say is that I told you so.

I have the Winbook TW700. Great tablets for my needs. I was able to run some games like ROBLOX and Minecraft on it. If you REALLY need more RAM and the USB 3.0 Port then go with the TW801 but I think the TW700 will be just fine.

One thing worth mentioning is the TW801 and the TW802 are the same exact devices but with two distinct differences. The TW802 runs LPDDR3 and the TW801 runs LPDDR2. On the opposite the TW801 has a full size USB 3.0 port meanwhile the TW802 only has a full size USB 2.0 port. So I guess it boils down to how much crap you're looking to plug into the device :P

Yeah, i dont really care about USB 2.0 vs 3.0, not doing anything data speed intensive.

I beleive the TW801 had gps and the TW802 didnt, but i dont care about that either, i have my phone for gps.

On the negative, it looks like the TW802 was on sale for 100$ and now is up to 120$, but thats fine.

Me either I would rather have the TW802 with DDR3L to save me a smidgen on battery life. Plus DDR3L will more than likely have higher bandwidth than DDR2L so the iGPU should have slightly better 3D performance. As for GPS on a full version of Windows? That's something I honestly would rather not have.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do, get the tw802.

I just need more money first
