Challenge for the forums

The Alienware alpha costs $500. I was looking around on pcpartpicker, and it's actually pretty hard to make a build at that price point and an itx form factor that can compete. Obviously once we move towards the higher configurations we can match it easily, but I challenge you guys to make a build that can match it, and still make a profit, as if you were Alienware yourself. I tried it, it's pretty hard. easy to match, quite difficult to match and still make a profit.

well this challenge is unfair towards us lol... I mean they can buy stuff in OEM/bulk... which cost considerably less... while we have to shop for retail/online prices

PLEASE QUOTE OR TAG (WITH @) ME IF YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT ME TO REPLY!!!!!!!

Also if your issue is solved don't forget to mark the thread as solved!

You went over the price. The challenge was to match and still make a profit.

Not to mention the MIRs. And the Haswell-R incompatibility.
