Do you plan on using the stock cooler? Otherwise, having one of those might be handy.....

Honestly, in games like BF4 I'm getting bottlenecked with the same GPU and a more powerful CPU. In future games like Star Citizen you will have issues. I would go with a i7 and a weaker GPU.
