My Gaming Build

Hi everyone!  I am building my first computer, and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice for what I have build.

 

Case: Corsair N400

Hard Drive: Seagate SSHD 1TB

Monitor: Asus HH6 Series H226HQLbid

GPU: GIGABYTE GV-N960WF2OC-2GD GeForce GTX 960 2GB

PSU: Corsair 600w

RAM: 8 GBs of Corsair DDR3 2x4GB

Mobo: ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87

CPU: Can't decide, either i5 4460, i5 4590, or i5 4690k

OS: Windows 8.1

PC SPECS: CPU: Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition│GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce 4GB(soon!)│MBO: Asus Z97-A │PSU: Rosewill 550w Fully-Modular │CASE: Deepcool TESSERACT SW

get the r9 280x, and an i5 4690k if you OC, otherwise the non k or the xeon 1231v3

CPU: Xeon 1230v3 - GPU: GTX 770  - SSD: 120GB 840 Evo - HDD: WD Blue 1TB - RAM: Ballistix 8GB - Case: CM N400 - PSU: CX 600M - Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Evo

Depends totaly on your budget but your build seems to be fine to me.

I would switch out the Hard Drive for a normal HDD and get a SSD as soon as the money is there though.

1st PC: GA-870A-UD3 - Phenom II x4 965BE - Radeon R9 280 X-Edition - 8GB Kingston HyperX - 5TB Hard Drives - 256GB SSD.

I would ditch the Seagate 1 TB Drive because I have a feeling it will fail on you. Get a WD Blue if you can. The Core i5 4460 shoul be fine for you in my opinion.

Ok, thanks for the fast replies.  I just thought the SSHD was cool, thats why I wanted it.
