Hey guys, so back in december I purchased a H100i Liquid Cooler, and it was quiet and cool and perfect, a month back I started having noise issues with it. The fans spin at high RPM all the time, I went into Corsair Link and it said the fans were spinning at 900 RPM but when I go into bios it says they are spinning at 2300. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue so I can have a quiet cooler again?

I plugged them into a SATA lead that goes into the pump.

The pump doesnt have SATA leads for fans...

It has ONE sata power cable for the pump, then it has smaller fan cables with a custom connector that break out into two PWM headers...

it also has a single tachometer cable that is for the pump rpm that plugs into your motherboard

your pump is what is running at 2300rpm  not the fans

corsair link is the only device that can read the fan speeds when they are plugged into the H100i

first of all, replace those stock fans they are horrible and extremely loud

second, mount your H100i vertically, not at the top of your case

Sadly I don't think a front 240mm radiator is compatible on my case, NZXT Phantom 410. And what fans would you recommend? I don't really want to spend a lot of money on them.

noctua redux fans are good, bequiet has some quiet fans but not too much static pressure...

fractal design has just released some good static pressure fans that are quiet, but i havent found any place selling them yet, but they are listed on their website

How did you plug them in again? I just used a noctua Y-splitter and plugged the fans to the CPU 4-pin header. I got the retail SP120's because they look better and at least have something in the way of noise reduction. I also ditched Corsair Link. Very unstable piece of software that doesn't even display everything all the time. My CPU temps kept flashing between the current temp and 0°C. Had to install it recently because the LED color was off. :P
