I bought a Ryos MK and I think that it's a fine piece of kit, it's well made with sturdy construction that inspires confidence in it's longevity. I found the software for the keyboard functional and easy to get hold of as well. If their other products are in any way built like the Ryos Mk is then I would say that they are quite good but take what I've said with a grain of salt as the Ryos MK is the only Roccat product I've used.

Never tried them, but everyone has their own opinions. Try the ones that your friend has.
