is this setup good?

I want to build a gaming pc but I do not know if my components are any good,

My components are:

gpu    MSI GTX 970 gaming 4g

cpu    intel i5-4690 3,5 GHz

psu    cooler master G550M 500 watt

mobo MSI H97 gaming 3

case  cm storm trooper

samsung optical drive

SSD   crucial MX100 256 GB 

HDD  seagate barracuda 1TB

RAM   corsair 8 GB DDR-31600 kit

 

I have no idea if these are any good,

and like to hear some of you guys thoughts on it

Looks good but I would get an aftermarket cooler if you intend on over locking and if you don't than mobo isn't nessecary

Edit: if you want to overclock get. K series processor, I reccomend overclocking
