Hey everyone,

I need a new keyboard and mouse, I would prefer a mechanical keyboard and my budget is around 100 $.

which mouse and keyboard should I choose?

thanks for the help!

Depends what brand. I have a Logitech G602 Mouse and a Logitech G510 Keyboard. These are a bit over budget I think. I cannot really offer anything because I have only used Logitech products for a long period of time. Maybe someone could shine some light on Corsair? I heard they have good keyboards

Go used on the keyboard as a mechanical keyboard is gonna be pricey regardless. What switch do you want?

Also, a great budget mouse solely for the sensor is the Logitech G100s.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Don't really know what switches,  i also raised my budget to 200$ and thinking of buying the razer blackwidow chroma and a mouse.  But I am not sure which mouse.

Pleeez do not buy the Blackwidow if you want real Cherry switches. I know you said you don't know the difference but that's even more the reason to spend money on a keyboard with Cherry switches. Check the link in my sig to read about them - they're an important factor when buying a keyboard.

And for the mouse:

Which grip do you use?

How big are your hands?

Do you need things like macros?

I have the claw grip, i have small hands and don't need any micro's. Why is the Razer Blackwidow Chroma so bad?

If you have a claw grip and all that then I would suggest the Corsair M45.

The Blackwidow Chroma uses Kailh switches rather than Cherry switches. Kailhs are made in China and Cherrys are made in Germany. The quality difference is quite noticable at times, especially when it comes to key wiggle of which Cherry switches have none. For the money of the Blackwidow you should look into getting something of decent quality.

Hmm, the only problem with the corsair k70 is that it is over budget :(

I really like the look of it ;) but maybe because of budget reasons i should go with a non RGB k70.

The Ducky Shine 3 doesn't really have RGB but you can have a multitude of different backlight colors to match your build. You just can't effects live waves or rainbows.
