Looking for a good mic for about £40.

Want it for Teamspeak as well as some streaming.

I am currently using a modmic 4.0 but it just has terrible background noise, even when all the fans in my pc are turned off it sounds like there's a banshee screaming down it.

I don't know how Linus recorded his modmic 4.0 review but mine sounds nothing like it.

Are you sure it's your fans and not static? A lot of people have been having problem with static with the modmic because of the onboard audio. A $10 usb adapter usually fixes it.

It is static, I even turned my fans off to test it and it was still there.
