I like how reliable Gigabyte is so overall the GA-990FXA-UD7 would be the best choice however for extreme overclocking it would have to be something from the asus rog series but asus have screwed up a lot of times and their customer service is ********* to the point where im never buying anything from them again.

Yes, thats about right, I remember when I got a DOA gt530 and I called them and they told me to piss off. I called again and they said RMA it. Thats the last of Mr gt530, I got a 6450 from powercolour which which is no longer used. Asus failed me too much

AMD FX8350 @4.5ghz (1.375v) + CM Hyper 412Slim (discarded the stock fans and replaced with a Corsair SP Performance fan)

I've got a MSI 990fxa-gd80 and it hasn't failed me so far. Was able to get my 955 to 4ghz.

The only motherboards i buy are Asus.

I feel like they're so top notch. (Especially when J.J talks about them.)

 

So i would either go for a 990fx or a Crosshair v formula
