Z97 Chipset cooler?

good to know. How long after the z87 release did they announce their water blocks? I only got into building computers recently and don't even know when z87 came out lol.

hey guys I have an ASUS z97 pro gamer do u think I should replace the heatsink of the chipset ?

There is not much to gain from it, If you can submit to the risk of braking it you could do it, But id still advice you not to.

Replace it with what exactly? And why? Its not gonna improve anything performance wise and its probably not gonna look as good as it does now.

looks almost like the GENE/HERO MOSFET pattern. but a millimeter or two means

it won't fit. popularity will get a MOSFET block made.

 

chipset block is truly wasting routing issues.
