Best Budget Android Tablet

Hi people of LTT!

 

So in my school (not in the USA, dont bother asking), we use tablets for our books, but since i dropped my tablet face first on the ground "by accident"

I need a replacement. So here are my perimeters:

 

Budget: $200-$300

Usage: Mainly for books and light gaming

Will i root: NO, I cant, school does not allow it

Needs to be stock, school again said.

 

(PS, dont recommend an Kindle, school said nothing, but i dont like Kindles, i like stock)

need to know your country, some places have different prices for different areas, so kind of have to ask

I would try and extend your budget to 350$. The nexus 9 costs 350$ on amazon and is an amazing tablet. But then again anything could suit your needs. Even a nexus 7.

I would get one of the following: lg gpad 8.3, nvidia shield tablet, or google nexus 7 (2013). The lg gpad has amazing build quality and a snapdragon 600, but it has the lg skin, which give great multitasking, though it looks iffy. The shield tablet has a tegra 4 cpu, which is one of the best of it's class on the market (above in the other two tablets), a pen, and nvidia streaming features. Overall I think that the shield is the best option. The nexus 7 (2013) has pure stock android like the shiled tablet and is a bit cheaper, but doesn't have any exceptional features.

My relatives are coming home from the US so, ill buy and ship it to them and ask them to bring it to me
