So basically I was given an 'older' PC by a family member, and the specs aren't anything special, but I think I can make something out of it.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

RAM: 4GB

I was thinking of just buying a cheap graphics card, and putting it all in one of my old cases. The card I have in mind is an Asus GeForce GT210 1GB. I don't intend on using this for heavy gaming, just some office work, browsing, watching videos, and maybe some light gaming.

What do you think? Is there anything that could go wrong, and is the GeForce GT210 okay?

Cheers

For those uses its okay. The gt 210 though does perform poorly even in many casual titles. I would get something a bit more powerful like an r7 250 or a used hd 7770 if you can find one.
