Didn't exactly know where to put this. so sorry if its not in the right place.

But anyways. i Sololy run a local at home computer repair shop. As for prices there only one more computer shop nearby and their prices are completely insane. 92$ for a simple diagnosis. What are they. apple?

Anyway. ive been doing this for a while and got a decent flow of traffic and customers.

Now. keep in mind i have another scource of income and this is more of a hobby i do. because i love computers. nor am i greedy. But lately ive been working for 3.30$ an hour. which when you're working on computers isnt very much as most computer work or...that ive been dealing with is very fast and easy. like GPU installation. that takes what.MAYBE 5 mins? and a windows installation (normally) takes around 30 mins to 1 hour 30 mins.

SO im here asking this awesome community. what should i charge? i really don't mind how much i make. but id mostly want to be fair. and since its not my main source of income it doesnt have to be completely overblown and insane. sooo what would you charge? what are you suggestions. im interested to see and read.

Well my friends give me around 200-500php(5-10USD) everytime I help them. One time I've only installed some anti-virus and MS Office and was given 200php which is great since I don't really ask them for money. It depends on you how you charge the customers but it should always be based to how hard it is to solve and not like a rip-off diagnosis like the people I've met in malls.(They made my godfather take off his GPU and RAM to buy a new RAM because the GPU and RAM was "broken" and the GPU made the display "broken"(whut?))

My Current PC Codename: Scrapper

Spoiler

Intel i5-3570 | Some LGA 1155 MOBO Some Generic DDR3 8GB 1600Mhz | PowerColor RX 560 2GB | Recycled HP Case Crucial MX100 128GB 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM | Some Generic 500w PSU | Intel Stock Cooler

ok yeah WHAT!? what kinda sense is that.

Anyways yeah thats what i kinda wanted to start out. but honestly i kinda want enough cash to be able to get parts for people and honestly some for myself. i can barely afford a 120gb HDD and their only 20$ ...min wage jobs suck ass in US.

i guess it WOULD depend what i was doing. guess i should focus on that. thanks for your input.

You could probably have a $10 start-up fee, and then $5 for every half hour or so. Minimum time being half an hour. So at a minimum you would get $15. I don't know though.

That sir..........is actually pretty damn brilliant and reasonable....i might adopt that.
