Hyper x cloud or cloud 2?

Just manly the mute and volume dongle and I think the Cloud 2 sound better

Both the same headphones essentially. The new one has an in-line soundcard that simulates surround sound.

 

I prefer the first ones.

I thought the sound quality was the same between the two. That is what I heard from reviews at least.

It should be the same if you aren't using the USB sound card. The card is supposed to sound like crap, so if you don't need the card, I would get the first ones, since I assume that they would be cheaper. The sound should be the same, as they are supposed to be the exact same headphone, if I'm not mistaken.
