we fixed it was a bad cable

See if that wall outlet is dead.. reply if it works or if it doesn't work.  :) Just try a different wall outlet  :) Maybe the PC Will just "magically" work.. even if it isn't the outlet..  :)

:( Sorry dude, that sucks. Whats the specs of his system, and try re-seating the cables, and see if there is any sign of life at all.
