Hello

I'm looking for the most badass monitor with the following description for my next high-end PC (x1 GTX 970 STRIX + same one in 1-2 years):

-27 or 28"

-144Hz

-1ms

-Displayport (guess is the best of all ports)

-IPS Panel

-higher then 1080p or 2K

Then i find this Acer XB270HU but it has 4ms, not 1ms as reviews says. Please give me hand.

I'd probably wait for the upcoming monitor range that AMD & Vesa have been working on @kimochi123 not G-Sync but Free-sync.

Please become a member of the Linus Tech Tips forum, keep writing smug remarks & let us love you. Peace out.

Take a look at this:

G-sync might be able to work without the module at some point, so paying an extra $200 for something that will be obsolete by next year would be stupid. This would be the only logical thing for Nvidia to do since freesync is, well, free. I would wait.

While it does work, its not very reliable.  You really do need the Gsync module for it to work properly.

Its a beta driver used in this video. They should be able to make it work most of the time without a module, or at least make the module super simple and cheap. $200 is ridonculous for something you can almost do it without.

that acer IPS with its AWFUL 4ms gtg has faster response time measurements than the ROG Swift with its 1 ms gtg according to the extensive TFT reviews,.... i wonder if the advertised numbers isnt just pure meaningless bullshit...

also, if you want to know what your are talking about check the sticky under display section - look for response time and input lag, ud be surprised if you knew what you should actually care for
