Hello

My Laptop's HDD is Seagate ST1000LM024
which spinned down every few seconds, so i did some testing

I have been using KeepAliveHD to make my HDD not go to sleep

https://keepalivehd.codeplex.com/

The Result is :

1) Charging and 100% Battery Life, I set KeepAliveHD to 5 Seconds = Load did not increased

2) Charging and NOT 100% Battery Life, I set KeepAliveHD to 5 Seconds = Load Increased

3) Charging and NOT 100% Battery Life, I set KeepAliveHD to 2 Seconds = Load did not Increased

4) Not Charging, I set KeepAliveHD to 2 Seconds = Load did not increased

Conclusion :

When Battery Life is not at 100%, the HDD is going to power saving even quicker (2 Seconds)

My Questions :

1) Is it okay to constantly write on the HDD for 2 seconds? (KeepAliveHD) I already check the taskmgr, KeepAliveHD only uses 0.1MB/s and the disk activity is 10% MAX

2) My Other concern is, my WRITE ERROR RATE seems to be increasing, right now it is on 56726 Value, is this okay?

I think the WRITE ERROR RATE increased because of the constant writing from keepaliveHD?
even though i tried turning off keepAliveHD, and it seems the WRITE ERROR RATE still increased, but more slowly
