ABout an AC unit

Hi guys, I have an Midea Super inverter 17 unit now I have 2 problems with it  

 

1.the indoor unit puts out a very not nice smell odor don't know how to describe it - but its not breathable

this happens when I first turn it on and when the unit is going into saving mode (five steps between 418Wph-936Wph max in cooling - 1036Wph heating)

sometimes the odor comes in never mind the mode (but its strongest in the saving mode at cooling)

2.the outdoor unit is making like a jet engine sound when it goes up in rpm or pressure

now it says on the unit that the max is 68db when I checked with the ipad microphone and an good app it goes to 75-76db

and the technician from the company says the unit is 100% ok to the company but to me he says to go to court and let a judge decide and he cant do anything (like tell the company to replace needed parts or the whole thing) I have 1 year warranty hassle free and 2 more year for 100$ a technician visit.

 

the unit cost me about 1100$ including installation

 

any tips ?

its an 2013\4 model so it shouldn't  work like 2000 one right ?

yes i might be able to help with sub ambient\ zero but i unfortunately have no experience with this unit and I dont speak hebrew nor am i proficient with google translate.

ive had that thought since last year. Have you seen linus's?

 

i thought about using parts from an old freezer...... seen some cheap ac units for 40.00 bux at a pawn shop.

 

few good tutorials out there as well.

 

i like the convenience thats for sure, but it will cost a bit to operate for hours on end day after day after.

 

been happy with the dice pot, plus dice and acetone are cheap as f*^$. i was benching in the freezer last year, but not this year. Prokon done evolved

It's probably a bad compressor causing the jet engine sound.
