Hi All,

 

I searched, but couldn't find a topic about this yet so... Descent is coming back!

 

It will be in the form of a prequel called Descent: underground and it's being developed by Descendent studios which is spearheaded by Eric "Wingman" Peterson, who most of us know from Star Citizen.

 

Anyway, it is on KickStarter now. So go and support it if you feel like it :)

At the moment they have collected already $166.459 of their $600.000 goal.

It has been many years since I've played Descent...before Freespace. Since Descent trademark is still owned by Interplay, how can they use it for their KS project ?

They've gotten the rights from Interplay to make this game. It's also featured on the Interplay website: http://www.interplay.com/about/article.php?id=81
