Get the X99-A unless you need wifi, in which case get the X99-Deluxe.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Also, the PCIe spacing on the 99-a is a bit different.

 

If you're looking just to add wifi, the Asus x99 pro has it and is cheaper than the x99 deluxe.

Not enough info. Either will do overclocking, gaming, and editing exactly the same. Really the only thing that separates them is on board Wifi+Bluetooth with the Deluxe.

 

If you're not going to use either of those features, you have your answer.

neither... X99e-ws.

 

Okay now that I've got that out of the way. the a is enough for most editors who will probably have a hardware connection to their router anyway. The only reeason I can see that the deluxe would be better is if you need the wifi, or you want an M.2 drive as a scratch disk.
