Cant install drivers windows 8.1!

I just did a fresh install of windows 8.1.

And of course, I need to install drivers for my amd mobility radeon HD 5470.

After the windows updates, I downloaded the catalyst drivers. Installed, restarted PC, only to find a triangle next to my graphics card, and the primary adapter being microsoft simple graphics.

Please help with this issue.

go to AMD's website and re-install your drivers for 8.1

 

you may have possibly installed drivers for 32-bit? that could mess some stuff up

I have the 64 bit driver.

Also, the gaming evolved app says that my card cant have auto updates, but it could also in win7, and amd auto detect cant detect the graphics card
