I have a MSI Z97 Gaming 3 and i7-4790K with a H110 on it. I am probably getting 16GB of corsair vengeance or even pro... I was wondering what GPU would be good for that set up. :)

Thanks

Whatever card you decide on, unless you're doing stuff like video or photo editing or processing I'd advise going with just 8 gig of RAM (2 x 4GB sticks) and rolling the money for the other 8 gig into a nicer graphics card (or just buy something else with the money) because you really only need 8 gig of system RAM for gaming at the moment (and by the time games need 16gig all of our rigs will be out of date)...

...basically you could just use that money to buy a slightly nicer card.

I have around 400 euro atm but I was wondering if I got a card for 700 euro, would that even run at it's full potential with my system or if I got a 100 euro GPU, would that slow down my system? :) About the 16GB, I want to be able to upgrade in the future and not worry much about the RAM. I just want to have a good system for future games.

I would go with x2 970s dx 12 will fix the memory allocation- you will get x2 the memory with dx 12 and two cards when now u have only one card's memory useable

but that's just me @BulkyZaNka

When i'm not playing PC games i'm playing with my PC parts  Fans,Pumps,Filters,

You are right. I forgot. :( That's why I wanted to get then Gaming 5. At the time I thought It's not worth to go SLI or CrossFire at that price point. :(

You can get the R9 295x2. Which is the same as crossfire R9 290x. Though you'll need to check the power supply requirements and to be honest I would just go with single a 980 or R9 290x or even wait for the new stuff to come out in June.

Unless you can afford to buy a couple of the leading edge cards it's best to go for a single more powerful card for the price of two and then add a second one of those further on. The main advantage of SLI besides getting the bleeding edge performance, if you can afford it, is that you can spread the cost and that adding a second card can prolong the life of your build.

Also, SLI isn't always reliable, it can help prolong the useful life of the build but until 100% of releases are optimised for SLI as a matter of course it's arguably not really that much of a better option than going for a single more expensive card.

Ultimately it can get you slightly better performance but only if the games are optimised for it. I guess what I'm trying to say is SLI isn't as reliable as a single card. If you know which game you want to play and if you're going to be playing just that game most of the time then check to see what the best gpu setup is for that specific game (otherwise you could be stuck having to run it on just one of the two cards).
