Grainy screen

Baionoido

My screen is grainy in some games, like the start menu of Oblivion (don´t know if it´s in game as well since I haven´t noticed) and the other game that has constant grainy screen is Cities: Skylines. :( Anyone know what the problem could be?

Yeah, a little bit more info about your setup would be nice to have.

What monitor you have?

Are you sure the cables are plugged in correctly snugly?

Make sure you have set to your monitor's native resolution.

When I read a topic I immediately see how old the poster is ;)

The problem can be anything, but what I know from experience is that this often happens when you own an AMD GPU and anti aliasing and so on in catalyst control center is set to anything other than application controlled.

So if you own an AMD graphics card set all those settings to application controlled.

I can't remember Oblivion's menu screen, but Cities: Skylines has a slight film grain effect that you can turn down in video settings. Could that be what you're seeing? Do you notice this in any other games?
