Yea I just did a speed test..... Download speed is 2.55 Mbps per second and upload speed is 1.27 Mbps.... Is this fast or slow.... I am also currently download a 9 gigabyte file right now soooo.....

I have a really old router.... so should I get a new one? If that is the problem.. I will

Actually depends on the speed you subscript. Mine usually goes around 900++mbps for download and 500 - 600++mbps for upload.

Depends on what plan you are paying for from charter, in my area we now have two plans 60 and 110 if you are on legacy pricing then you might be on the 15,25,30.60 plans my guess is going to be on the 30/60 plan since the 110 has 5 for upload and the 15 has 3 however this can and most likely is area based

 

If you have more questions just ask i used to work for charter for 3 years as a service tech.

 

if you have to replace your modem do not i repeat do NOT get the wifi modems. they are utter shit.

I do not listen to speedtest.net results. Download a file from Microsoft like windows 10 and look at your download speed. That is real world.
