My old Windows 7 MSI laptop required me to press FN+F6 to activate the camera...or maybe it was just F6

Is this a webcam on a laptop or is it a USB one? If so what model is it?

It's on a laptop, the laptop is a Clevo P650SE. :)

Does it show up in the device manager?
