Is this psu enough?

I got confused because i read this : http://www.amd.com/Documents/Selecting-a-System-Power-Supply-for-the-AMD-Radeon-R9-295X2-Graphics-Card.pdf

And austin evans said this: "AMD Recommends at least 28A per 12 V rail " And i have no idea what that means.

What PSU?

I personally wouldn't even chance running the 295x2 on anything less then a 850W PSU.

It means for your 12v rail... it needs to be able to handle a current of 28 amps per rail, mostly for spikes I'm assuming

PSUs have a sticker on them that looks something like this:

500x1000px-LL-1d7c9378_Capture11111.PNG

Each rail (3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V) has an amperage rating listed. Wattage = Amperage * Voltage. The +12 V rail is particularly important in a modern PC because the CPU and video card of a PC draw most of their power from it. I believe what that R9 295X2 requirement is saying is that if your PSU has two +12 V rails (12V1 and 12V2) they each need at least 28 A. My guess is that a PSU with a single +12 V rail and a high current of 60 or so would probably be enough as well.

(Note I'm just linking that image as an example, not as a recommendation)
