GPU of CPU

Go to solution Solved by tmlhalo,

video maxes my oc'ed 4300 with a 4.3 clock

But i can only average 27 fps on all low and downscaled resolution to 720 (1280x1024 actuall)

Intel HD graphics are actually an upgrade from the Geforce 610. So you would be getting 2 upgrades for one by going with an I5 or I7 first.

firstly, over 100 post, YAY!
secondly 4770k or 970 g1?
Pc is for gaming/ recording and editing Only downside of CPU is would need a new mobo.
around 350$ each so...
Current:
CPU: amd 4300
Gpu: Gt 610
( i know its bad, just which one to by now for use now and for a part in my future build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LWnXpg)

I just felt like I needed somthing here

Why the I7 4770k out of curiosity? Why not the newer higher clocked I7 4790k? To answer the question though, I'd go with the CPU upgrade first for one reason...
you'd also be getting a GPU upgrade out of it...

vs

... yeah.

huh.... Thanks!

Your current processor would struggle a lot with recording.

i7 is totally worth the money for your scenario.

4770k and 4790k should be almost same price.

970 is better value than 980. Some think to think about :)

i7 don't dip more than $20... If anything, every new i7 gets little tiny bit more expensive than a previous one.
