So i had to build a new pc, since mine died after it had an accident my max was 800 for everything. this is what i bought would like some thoughts. later on i will be using the mobo and cpu for a server and use the gpu on a second pc.

step 1: change the fx6300 for a core i3

 

step 2: change the mobo for an asrock h97 pro 4

 

step 3: change the ssd for a crucial BX100 series

Better PSU, enough juice for you to go SLI later on should you ever wanted

Better Monitor, I.E. if you cant get a 120+Hz Monitor, get an IPS one :3

Just a sec, got a few reccomendations.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

I the PSU because it wasn't needed. And put the money towards a better motherboard, CPU, and GPU.

The RAM ain't pretty, but its cheap and will do the job fine.

Put a better SSD in.

Put a better HD that was only a dollar more.
