Adonit jot Flip help

Hello LTTF,

 

Im looking forward for buying a stylus, and it seems adonit jot flip is the best bet for precision writing and sketches. I just want to know if it is only compatible with the iPad? or does it work well with other tablets like nexus 7 as well. And if you have used it before, doesn't it need any special connection or will it work on any capacitative touchscreen device?
