So here I am assembling my GF's new PC when my overclocking a Z75 SLI board starts to cause the board to toss a 99 error code.  I contact them at around 11PM EST and they answer, walked me through a few things only to find that it has dual bios by moving the jumper.  So after that we got it to post no issues.  But they are always so helpful and friendly and very quick to respond!

Intel Core I7-4790K 4.5GHz 1.225V, NZXT Kraken x60 AIO Cooler, EVGA Z97 FTW Board, Kingston Fury 2x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Ram, EVGA GTX 980 TI SC+ ACX GPU, Corsair Air 540 Case w/ 3x120MM & 3x140MM Cougar Red LED Fans, EVGA G1 650W 80+ Gold PSU, Crucial MX100 512GB SSD, Samsung UD590 4k 60Hz Monitor

I had to contact them back when... well... this:

Got a fast response though!

But in all seriousness, their support was very helpful, even though I couldn't get the card replaced. (Don't ask what happened to it. Didn't expect a replacement either) They told me it would be fine, and they were right. Not a single issue.

Specs:

How in the world did that happen?

A long story that is actually quite short and at the same time embarrassing. I'll give you a hint though.

Don't leave 600$ graphics cards within child reach....

This makes me feel better. I'll be needing to return a EVGA GTX 970 do to the coil-whine issue and stability issues soon once I get around to it.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

True. Had my share of doubt but once I did get in touch with them it was more than I expected.

The 970 I'm using now was actually upgraded through their StepUp program, which I do hope other manufacturers do ..

Asus also has good support, but this tends to depend on the region you live in. Heard many horror stories with their support in other countries.
